Writing the Body: A Memoir Workshop for Stories That Start from Within
6-week Online Workshop | Starts September 17, 2025-Wed evenings 7pm-8:30pm EST
Have a story inside you — about your body, your past, or your family — but aren’t sure where to begin?
This generative memoir workshop is designed for people who feel the pull to write personal stories but need a place to start. Whether you’re writing about family dynamics, caregiving, identity, illness, body image, parenting, or simply want to reclaim your creative voice, this course offers structure, community, and encouragement.
Through weekly live sessions, guided prompts, and gentle craft lessons, we’ll explore how memory lives in the body — and how sensory detail, physical experience, and emotion can help shape powerful stories. You don’t need to have a manuscript or even a clear idea — just a willingness to write.
Writers of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
